I use Irfan view,

http://www.irfanview.com/

Been using it years.Even made a donation it's that good.

I will amend my post so people don't try and use Photbucket.

Well Shep I tried all the links provided, tried resizing several sizes, and it either tells me its too large or invalid URL. I know it can't be just me cause I see posts all over the place about that question and people having problems. And if they have figured it out, then how come I see very few avatars? As I said before,I downloaded from google images,("small" setting) I just right clicked and copied URL address.
I followed your steps precisely...but I'm to a point where it's not that important to me now...and definitely not fun. You have shown us in other posts, you are a computer Wiz...which I'm guessing helps considerably.I am however a few notches below you,and a few notches above the Indian Techy you get on the phone. I hope I'm not coming off as being pissy, that is not my intention. I just need you to understand what seems easy to you, is not for me or us.Or maybe something is not functioning properly. But for now,I will keep what was easy for me,and be contented. Thanks for your time and patience on this anyway. Have a Good1-Rog

But I can see you have an Avatar?

Yes,,,and at the risk of sounding patronizing...I did explain how I did achieve an avatar, not particularily the one I was wanting, but it will do.Actually the more I see it the more I like it.It takes me back to the days I was a young hippy dude. Its definitely me.
Anyway,I see you are going to "amend" the photobucket fix...ya know I resized a pic smaller than postage stamp size, and still couldn't get it to load.I was getting extremely frustrated until I decided to try an image on google.Like I had explained, I found an image I liked, google was set for "small" image search, I right clicked it,chose "copy image URL" and inserted in the address in panel, and Whala...avatar image. One thing to note,I did get one of my photos to be accepted, but when I checked it in a thread,it had the little box with three circles in it...the windows symbol that shows image, but not loading.
Spanishbandit, can't we still send Vinnie and Clyde in the Limo for a drive by,just for a scare? :) He He!
Hey...you all have a good1 today...mine is just starting...yours is half over,right? Peace-Rog
