CX500 GL500 650 Global

Hi all, got this link from a very nice helpful guy in Yorkshire and thought it would be nice to drop by.
I'm in North East Scotland and have just about finished building a trike (I'm disabled a bit) from a sad old 79 CX that a neighbour was about to send to the scrapyard. It has been three years almost of mostly enjoyable work, got it tested and registered earlier this year only to find the rear axle was way too low geared, so a rebuild with another axle got us by that problem then the bodywork had to be altered to suit a wider axle and bigger wheels. Now it is almost ready for the road and problems arose from the water pump and the kind gentleman from Yorkshire gave me a great deal of help and advice on how to overcome them. Thanks Shep, I found my way here at last!

A couple of months ago I saw a couple of CX trikes out around Scarborough.Really nice also at a local bike evening there's a disabled guy who has a Mega-Trike made with a Hayabusa Engine professionally done.He has no use of his legs so all controls are servo operated from the bars.The Trike is Awesome and capable of over 140 Mph!!! Not that he's taken it up to that.It's also rigged so that it can be converted back to a normal bike in under a couple of hours.I think he said it was made for him in a special Custom shop in Bristol.We are talking well over 15k+ cost though.
Now that's a serious commitment to riding IMHO.
