Recent Ride

Postby krmtrains » Thu May 07, 2009 10:26 am

I'm new to this forum, and had only introduced myself recently. Thought I would try to post a photo from a ride I took last Saturday afternoon. Did about a 60-mile loop from my home in Brighton, Michigan. The photo was taken during a break, with the camera sitting on a picnic table. Also stopped for an ice cream cone at the Fenton Dairy Queen. A very pleasant day!

I do a quite a lot of short,"Round-Robin" rides to use a colloquial phrase.Sometimes just to get out of the house. It never ceases to amaze me how if there's something playing on my mind by the time I return home the problem seems to have dissipated :)

Must be the amount of concentration used to ride safely that gets the tune out of your head. It is also relaxing. Strange that something requiring so much focus and concentration would also be so relaxing.

Beautiful spot :)

Some of the roads I use over here can be really low on traffic. One of the advantages of living,"Up North" :)
