I was thinking it may be a Snapfish thing, don't use it so I'm not sure.

Please understand that I'm not trying to corner you here bri-guy, just trying to get this straight so others won't have same issue.

I noticed you said 'URL' just now.
Make sure you're not copying the URL in the address bar at the top of the page. Instead, you must copy the address from the image itself. For Flickr (using Firefox) I first select the image from the assortment of thumbnail (again this is Flickr) then once image opens up to full size, I right click the image, click 'properties' and then highlight/copy the image address from there. This address is then pasted into the text box here. This may not be identical in Snapfish but give it a try.

If this is how you're already doing it, then I'm stumped.

THANKS for your cooperation.

I know your just trying to help. If I indicated it was a problem I appologize. sorry, I meant to say img not url. Let me try form photobucket.

This is the direct link code

This is the img code

This is the URL address from the properties
http://render-2.snapfish.com/render2/is ... 50,396,442

Both work for me, but the snapfish ones did also. Hope this helps.

No need to apologize, I appreciate your time with this!

Are these new pix or crops/enlargements of the old ones?? They definitely show the parts better!Nice! Did you use the same EXACT procedure with
Photobucket? Would be nice to know since I've never used Photobucket either.

I'm a little confused about your last note about Snapfish link working. Are you saying they show in Snapfish but not here? Sorry if this is confusing, my brain is starting to hurt (again).

Do both photobucket images appear? I used the same procedure as for snapfish and they are the same images just different server. I was asking of the link I included from snapfish worked. I can see both the snapfish images and the snapfish link works for me here. Just curious if the link worked at least.

sorry for being confusing. Hope this can help others in the future. I can finally provide a contribution.

I see the two images you have labeled as 'direct link code' and 'img code' - these must be from photobucket. But at the end, (I think your Snapfish link), no pic just new tab opens with red box. Starting to think this is a snapfish issue but not sure. Can you try another image linked from snapfish? Just curious now....

Not sure what's best for you but maybe use photobucket just for use on this forum? For one thing, it would help keep bike/forum images separate from all your other stuff on Snapfish, also, may help remind you not to accidentally delete them in the future.

Here is another snapfish image

http://images1.snapfish.com/232323232%7 ... 2%3Avq0mrj

The first is regular post method as before
second is url post. same as img but with url button
and third is img with [] instead of ()
All three work in preview for me

If you are getting a red box it must be a snapfish thing. I only set-up the snapfish so I could post pics here, so no biggie to switch. I am going to email you a link and see if you can open it correctly. What about linking to the url, might that work?

Not sure why only two of the three appear but I think at this point it's safe to assume that the original links were corrupted somehow and Snapfish does indeed work. I do think for images it's best to stick to the original plan using Img button and parentheses. Now to clean up your thread...

Actually I only see two links, each with an image below - not three. Maybe I'm missing something.

Its actually 4 seperate postings.
1 is address bar
2 is img posting
3 is url posting
4 is img posting with [] used.

I forgot to list the address bar link. Oops. Glad we got them to work.
