Does anyone have a tip to install the O-ring between the resevoir and the base. I don't understand how the ring works with the groove in both the base and the resevoir. How does it apply pressure to the O-ring?

It is the rectangular resevoir. Where it goes into the base is circular.

I've not had to do a MC re-build kit yet.I had found a spare one in a box of bits I bought off Ebay when one of mine went.
