I was down in chicago 4 years ago in one of those art studio loft type areas. I seem to think it was in walking distance from a rainforest cafe because I was staying at the windom and was touring the art area and I saw this guy wheel a large honda similar to a shadow out of his apartment, down the hallway to the elevator and drove it out the door. You can do what you want as long as your landlord doesn't catch on. As for me. Good women are hard to find. I let her have the computer office area. She lets me keep the squirrels.

This is Rocky and Bitches. They were outdoor flying squirrels till they decided to live in the house with me. The cage isn't really to keep them in it's just to give them some space. If you left the door open they would still come back.



Oh yeah they watched me put the forks together.

You rule Shep! When I got the new engine (still in the crate from Japan), it was -30 C outside. The only place to keep it warm was in through the patio doors - at the back of the master bed-room. With about 16" of snow on the patio, under the porch, the engine sat all winter. - the wife won that round.

Your squirrels are cute. I used to have a pet rat that ran around my shop playing with my cat. I got both of them from Folsom prison where I work. He used to hide behind stuff and jump out and try to scare me when I was working on something. It was cool when he would try to steal parts from me. When I would catch him, he would turn his butt to me and swirl his tale in circles as if to say, hahaha, got ya! Do your squirrels ever come out and hang out with you?

I used to bring my dirt bike in my living room every Friday before a race, and tear it down to prepare it for a race. Those were the days! Now, my garage has AC/Heat, surround sound stereo hooked up to the digital TV and CD system, six 2 bulb 8 foot fixtures for lighting and carpet on the floor. No need to go in the living room any more.

The squirrels play around from time to time but since they are nocturnal they have the habits of a college student. Get up around ten a.m. and get a drink. Go back to bed for a few hours and come out for some corn then go back to bed till about midnight when they come out and run around. then back to bed for 3 a.m.

The only way to tell if they are awake is to give them a whole walnut because they tend to gnaw on them when they are up. My girlfriend had a rat for a few years till it died of natural causes. It was some sort of grade school experiment where they fed them different things to see what the effects would be. Hers drank coke all day long. She took it home when she learned they were going to feed it to the class snake.

She keeps trying to convince me that a rat is the way to go but I am trying to convince here to get one of those big grey squirrels.

I have to agree with her, my rat was on the top of the list of my favorite pets I have ever had. Only problem is the normal life for them is only 2 to 3 years. But it was a fun time during those years. I would get another one, but we have 2 rat terrier dogs that kill rats naturally. They hunt them better than any cat. And I could not let it out if I got another one.

You should let her get one, you might enjoy it.

She's been talking about picking up the rat stuff from her parents and we are going there this weekend. Sucks living 400 miles away from our family in either direction but it makes a good road trip when we can afford to go.
