Name is Joel, and am glad to have finally got set up here. Spend most of my time over on the Chopper Charles site, but now I can see many of the same faces here, so time for me too!

Back to work!~!

Glad you found me Joel.

I got a notification private message from CCs but couldn't reply.

For the Starter motor place the Fibre washer onto the armature 1st.Then the other two washers.

When all together don't tighten the bolts yet.Offer it up to where it's going to fit and make sure the Electrical connector bolt cannot touch or be impeded by position when it's fitted as you may have spun the starter case round. Then you can tighten up the Starter motor long securing bolts.Test on battery before fitting to make sure it's ok and then fit.

HTH :)

Thanks Shep, however, there are two Joels on the CC board (at least) and I think the other regular poster whose board name/handle is actually Joel may be who your reply here is meant for....I don't have any starter issues. I am ramprat06 over there as well.

OK.PITA with CCs being down :o

anyhoo.Service your starter motor anyway,

Well worth doing if it's not been done.A well maintained starter motor take takes the strain off the battery and engine thus prolonging both :)
