'82 GL500i clutch parts

Postby bcwaxhaw » Tue Jul 27, 2010 4:43 pm

I need to replace my clutch friction discs. The "after market" ones I bought (KG Clutch Factory) don't have the same oil sling groves as original equipment (all are "radial"except one "90 degree"; should have 5 that are "90 degree) Any one have experience with this brand of clutch parts AND is the angle of the oil slinger grooves critical?

One of my CX Clutches is made up of the best frictions plates I had out of spares and they are not exactly all the correct radial/straight plates and no problems. You do however have to make sure you get the order correct for the Laminated-damper plate(No:4) etc,
