my 81 cx 500 will run on 1 cylinder if i unplug eaither 1 of the coil wires pink or yellow it runs fine with both pluged wont rev up backfires got new ignition mod still no luck carbs redone by honda dealer some body please help i want to ride on 2 cyl not 1

All I know about the Ignitech units is that the must be grounded so make sure all the wires have been connected correctly.

You can also post on Chopper Charle's forum as a lot of guys on there have fitted them,
