CX500 GL500 650 Global

Hi,
I'm an old newbie to the Cx500. I recently picked up a 1980 CX500C that has been parked (indoors) for the past 18 years. Overall the bike is in pretty good condition, but the previous owner laid it down and it acquired some road rash. I'm looking to replace the exhaust pipe and was curious if anyone knows what the difference is between the pipes on a Deluxe and a Custom. They have different part numbers, but not having them side by side it's hard to tell from pictures if they are interchangable. I know I have a lot more work to do besides cosmetics, but I gotta start somewhere. Looking forward to tearing things down this winter in hopes of having ready by spring. Looks like I found a good forum for lots of first hand info. Thanks.
