replaced the throttle and the choke cable. now the bike steady at 2000 or it wants to die. anybody had this happen? any help would be appreciated.

Check the locking nut on the A pull cable.If it's come loose it will stop the mechanism returning.Also check that the butterflies for the choke have not jammed.
