Hi all,my names Sean i'm 37 and (unfortunatley)live in Redruth,Cornwall.Im back on CX after a bit of a break from jap bikes,thought i'd try something else so for the past 3 years i've been on a BMW K100RS,and very nice it was to.So why did i sell it? well we moved earlier this year which left us pretty brasic and the missus wanted carpets and curtains and that sort of crap! I thought i'd be off bikes for along time but as luck would have it i came across a chap who had 2 CXs (well,1 cx 1 rolling chassis 3 iffy engines) for the princely sum off £200,what a steal. So ive had a backdoor of the paintshop respray for £60,and i hand painted the frame in smoothrite,its not as bad as it sounds,if you take your time a good result can be achieved.When i get paid next month i'll get her taxed and tested and be cxing again.This will be my 3rd cx,just luv em.A 1982 cx500b was my first bike after passing my test many years ago OHR 633X wonder if its still alive.
