CX500 GL500 650 Global

I need some help from some of you more metric knowledgable guys out there. I am rebuilding my forks and it requires 210CC of oil. Is that the same at 210ml? I found a conversion online, but it doesn't seem like much. Am I missing something or is there not much oil in these things? I have some time to wait as I also have to order new bushings since I a few areas of the teflon are missing.

Pretty much the same.It's usually 1:1 using water in metric but close enough

Thanks Shep. I guess after you put all the springs and doo-dads back in the forks there isn't a lot of room left for oil.

In these types of forks the oil is the dampening agent hence if you upgrade to 20w fork oil you get better absorption of bumps in the road owing to it's higher viscosity and better molecular structure than ATF for this purpose .This then also translates into better handling and a more secure feel to the front-end especially on corners
