CX500 GL500 650 Global

It came with Pinky but looked,"Old Man-ish" when fitted on straight bars as it was too upright.When I moved it over to the custom bars on Laz and swept it back it looked cool.It's made by F.Fabbri but I think it's old and maybe not made anymore but they make newer ones now but there's lots of Universal ones around that I'm sure that you could make fit.

Say 1" bars but that's no biggy with a couple of half circle spacers to clamp around on the Bar clamps.I used an old kaput Big-end shell on one of Laz's

There was an identical one to Sheppola's on my CX when I got it and I too thought it too old mannish and couldn't wait to to get it off.

I had one similar but couldn't get it mounted right to fit my tastes. Kept sending wind up to the bill on my half helmet. But I have ultra low bars so I couldn't get it as high as I wanted. Bars mise well be straight pipe. If I ducked an inch it worked fine. Others on ChopperCharles rave about them.

It's debatable. I like it but I can see where it would be better on straight hill less stretches compared to hilly roads. I used it yesterday and it or my bike whichever fluxuated 5 to 10 miles depending on hills and wind. But I went out for a ride today on a decent long hill less stretch and it worked great.

It always felt like I was trying to squeeze the grips way to tight before I got it now things work easy.

Like I said it will become 2nd nature.You won't even know you are using it sometimesas your mind will adapt to the best times to use it.

Being in the UK and riding on the left it freaks out some other riders coming the other way when I lift my hand off the throttle and wave if they have nodded

Well I will try to get a few hundred miles on and re evaluate it. I really want to put some miles on but I have been having a bit of trouble convincing my brother to come see me with his bike since he get laid off on friday. You would think it would be simple. No job, lets ride.
