CX500 GL500 650 Global

Appreciate all I have learned in the little time I have had my 1982 CX 500/ Given to my by a friend who had died within 2 weeks of my gift.

I am in awe of the power of the bike and cannot wait to ride more than
half mile at a time. I have rebuilt 3 sets of carbs (non LCRXed) but have great intentions of getting the book someday.

I'm upgrading from a 1988 Suzuki GN 250 J where I honed my unsuperior mechanical skills. Yet I amaze myself with how I have achieved the impossible with ALL OF YOUR HELP HERE> THANK YOU.

I am wanting to learn more without having to go to wyotech.....this is
MY wyotech.

Anyway, I am in WA. STATE. Live on an island 25 miles north of Seattle.

I hate riding in the rain but I have to overcome that. Work on the ferries up here and having a ball learning everyday! Really! I am checking off my list all that I have left to do and am happy with the
results.

Soooo when I post the dumb questions please be kind and remember
us newbies to your favorite bike need guidance and really want to have
the best running and good looking bikes around.

When all is said and done she will get her classic plate and be ridden
proudly.

Also I used to love and still watch repeats of,"Frazier"

You seem to have some interesting areas and roads tho'

Don't worry about asking questions and there's a,"Big" group of people to help with these bikes all over the world.
