Hello, Everyone. I have a 1980 CX500 Deluxe I bought last year from a friend who had it laid up in his mom's barn for several years. Amazingly, it fired right up and I tooled around on it a bit last year. I rebuilt the carburetor this spring and have tinkered with a few other small items, but all in all I am happy with my first motorcycle. I am on the 'Honda CX500 and GL500 Forum', too, and I enjoy reading the posts and learning things about these great bikes. Looking forward to another great summer of riding - if the sun ever decides to come out here in Minneapolis.
