Recently traded in a CB 750 A and a CM 185 Twinstar on an 83 650 GL Silverwing Interstate.
Absolutely love this bike, but don't know anything about them. Look forward to learning here.
It does have a problem, I may have to post in a different place, but thought I'd put it in here too in case anyone reads and can give me a tip. It starts to bog above 5000 rpm. Pulled the plugs and they look not bad, but the right one was a bit blacker than the left. Any ideas?

I'm assuming this is a Transistor ignition engine.If so take a look at this post,

The plug caps can cause this problem but then so can un-serviced/dirty carbs,
