I have tried several makes on my CXs and the best I've found are Dunlop K70s.They grip well even in the rain.

I like the bridgestone I have on the back not sure what type it is but it does a good job.
Better than the Cheng Shin I have on the front but hey it was dirt cheap.

This is one of the most important issues for the bike and really depends on how much you drive and how much money you want to spend. If your going to put tons of miles on don't skip on the rubber.

I don't have any experience other than the Bridgestone Spitfires I have on right now, but they seem to work well, although the last time I rode home in a down pour they seemed a little skittish on the soaked roads. That may be the tires, but it was a downpour so I don't know if any tire would have felt solid in it.

thanks pals,
actually my bike's tires 8 years old metzeler . i was happy with them but they are really hard now and i want to replace them. here in Turkey i can find dunlop, pirelli, metzeller but all of them really expensive and cheap nonamed chinese tires. . i will not put too much miles on my bike, i have a another bike daily uses. did you heard about Duro tires? they are quite cheap.
cheers

I have IRC Durotours on both my bikes, and they ride fine and have seemed to hold up well. Not all that expensive. I have not been in the rain with them yet, but does a puddle count! :)
