Quite a few people have swapped MCs for other ones including Universal ones.If it fits OK then do it

Has anyone replaced the master cylinder with one off a more recent honda? I have one off a cbr600 which looks like it will fit.I am after a little more power with less pull from my hand.I just thought I would ask before I get oily and waste some brake fluid. |

I used an 84 VF700 Sabre master cylinder on an 83 GL650I dual disk brake set-up, worked fine. I think if you use a singlr disk MC on a single disk set up and vics-versa tou will be fine. I'm sure there are specific capacities and presures listed someplece but I don't know where. |
