I've bought myself a bike! yes I did. On the frame is mentioned "CX Custom" and the engine is marked with "GL 400". Not sure what I'm really riding. But fun it is. Lately I've got some problems with the engine, technical date for the 400 is hard to find. Anyone has an idea where I can find details for CX / GL 400?
* I have to replace my spark plugs every 500 Km,
* Can't find an air filter ( anyone has K&N on a CX?)
* when I accelerate from idle, there is some strange noise, like something is banging

we didn't get the 400's in the states so i don't know much about them. but i've been over to the australian site and they seem to know a bit about them because they (or at least new zealand) had some imported. you might want to post some questions there as well and see if anyone is able to help.
