Weak spark on gl 500

Hi Shep, Got trike on road at last,did electric fan job,no probs. Starts fine 5 mile down road runs like shit,tiny spark at plugs,pulled a few wires lol still same,hope someone can help,thanks,KEN.

As you know there could be a lot of causes.I would start at the plug caps,

And as it's a GL I assume it's the electronic ignition and not the CDI type so I would then test the wires to the Advance and Retard unit.There's Colour circuit diagrams in Electrical section and hopefully you have a manual?
