I am a male at 71 years, running at Honda GL 500 Interstate ยด84 - and I have 2 pcs of this type and a veteran from Germany ADLER MB 250, 2 cyl and two-stroke. I arrange tours for my friends in Europe, Scandinavia and went to California with 18 friends in August 2012 - as a Non profit. See more at my homepage: www.topfyn.dk I am also contact for Honda CX Club members in a small part of Denmark - called Fyn - an Island between Jutland and Seeland. Denmark is a very little country - only at 56.000 sqkm - and nearly 6.000.000 inhabitors. I am looking for a 21 Litres tank for a Honda CX 500C - anybody knows where to buy?? Best regards erdo / Denmark |

Hi Erdo. I don't know of a tank that size but if you can get a,"Deluxe or Standard" CX500 tank they can be modified quite easily to fit the customs. See this thread, http://cx500forum.com/index.php?/topic/ ... ntry176019 Lots of people with the customs dislike the small tanks and I can understand why. Here in the UK lots of the small petrol/gas stations have shut so I'm glad I can go 160 miles to reserve Note:The Standard Rear 18" CX500 Wheels will swap straight onto a Custom and lower the revs.My CX500s run @ 5,000 rpm @ 60 Mph etc. They are quite common on UK Ebay if you can find a seller who will ship to you PS Best ever rear tyre I've run is what I have on now which is a Tube type Michelin M45, http://www.mandp.co.uk/productInfo.aspx?catRef=526614 It can handle even the roughest roads without any sphincter twitches |
