Hello, I learned of this forum from someone posting on the Chopper Charlie site (shep I think), so I thought I would introduce myself and browse around. I'm from Brighton, Michigan, in the USA, and bought an '82 GL500 SilverWing in Febuary. I am continually amazed with the active following these machines have!

Welcome aboard.we don't get as busy as CC's site but I like to keep a lot of useful info on here and the search works  I like to see other people's days out on their bikes in different countries so post any pictures in the,"Best Rides" section from where you go riding.Doesn't have to be a round-the-world-trip as even some short rides throw up some great pictures/stories

Hey Kevin, nice bike you have there, I just recently obtained my first of these CX 500 bikes. You are right, it is amazing how many loyal followers this bike has. I am also in Michigan, Allen Park. Maybe I will see you cruising US23 or I94 this summer!! Ride safe!! -Mike |

Thanks Mike! I'll keep my eyes peeled. I get over to Allen Park pretty regularly, although not usually on the bike. On Sunday, I rode with my oldest son (he has an '83 CB1000 Custom) out to my Mom's in St. Clair. It rained on the way back as we traveled back roads through Clarkston. My first experience in the wet! Other than a bit cold and dirty, we did fine. |
