Hey, I just bought a '79 Custom with 8,000 miles for next to nothing... for once in my life I found that Garaged classic that every one else seems to find on a regular basis... I had an '81 back when they were a relatively new model. In my college years I rode year round and the CX was the best ride I ever owned. But then marriage and responnsibilities and a wreck took that away from me...now I'm a big boy and the wife has remembered her love of riding so we got another one.

I love my CX...is that so wrong?

Welcome to the site. I too have a 79 Custom. Nice little bike, I think I may like it better than the Goldwing. Especially around town.
