CX500 GL500 650 Global

Greetings again venerable CX folk.

I started my rebuild last September in earnest. My missus, sweet thing, allowed me to convert her garden shed into a mini-workshop ( had to build her a newer, smaller shed natch ). Got a decent bench with vice etc, lighting and power and set about stripping the old girl down (CX not wife).

Then the fates, as is their habit, intervened cruelly and gave my poor old mum 'that' dreaded disease so I had to spend the next 4 months helping her go and helping my dad cope with it Oh well, we all have to go through it eh.

Back on track now and I've got her down to the frame. Been stripping back to the metal with a blow torch and wire brush but have now realised that there are nooks and crannies that I just will not be able to get at. I reckon I will need some sandblasting so I'm just asking if anyone knows of a decent shop in the South ( of England that is - budget won't stretch to a visit to Arkansas )

Better still, any tips on how to get into those nooks and crannies ( bike not wife )

Good Lord! - those blokes across the pond can be very resourceful eh? Mind you, it helps when they only have to pay about half what we do for their gear - compressors etc. Here, people put the most rusted, dangerously delapidated junk on Ebay and still want £150 for it.

Do you reckon a home made soda blaster being driven by approx 100psi would get the paint of a frame?

Hmm.Most likely not.Here's a little thing I use for things like this and lots of other stuff,

Then dig into nooks with a small screwdriver.
