Post subject:	Alberta Canada 650 Silverwing
Recently traded in a CB 750 A and a CM 185 Twinstar on an 83 650 GL Silverwing Interstate. Absolutely love this bike, but don't know anything about them. Look forward to learning here. It does have a problem, I may have to post in a different place, but thought I'd put it in here too in case anyone reads and can give me a tip. It starts to bog above 5000 rpm. Pulled the plugs and they look not bad, but the right one was a bit blacker than the left. Any ideas? Thanks and looking forward to riding more than ever.

Welcome aboard I'm assuming this is a Transistor ignition engine.If so take a look at this post, http://globalcxglvtwins.hostingdelivered.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=84 The plug caps can cause this problem but then so can un-serviced/dirty carbs, http://globalcxglvtwins.hostingdelivered.com/viewforum.php?f=19 Also join Chopper Charle's forum in the US as there's a lot of traffic on there and of course closer for you should you need links for parts and there are many Canadian owners who may even be near you to help, http://choppercharles.com/cs/forums/
