Hello All,
My short story - bought the GL500I from an elderly gent who had purchased the bike new in 1981, put 6000km on it and then stored it in the barn until last summer. The usual tune-up and servicing, front brake dis-assembly to unstick, eBay mono-shock, tires, and a good cleaning was all it needed. 11,000km on it now, woo-hoo I love it, quite possibly the last bike I will own.
I've followed Shep around the web, a great contributor to the CX/GL community, hope to be able to help out in a small way also.
And British English too! :D
