Hello tp all from rainy CFB Petawawa, Ontario, Canada!
Just picked up an 81 GL500 Interstate for a few hundred dollars from a local penny pincher website and let me tell ya. It is in a hurting state..
This is after 10 hours of reassembly. The bike litterally came in boxes!
As she sits now. Unfortunately I couldnt save the fairing. It litterally crumbled because of a poor fiberglass job before.
As well the speedo drive on the hub is done. I think Im going to have to put in a bicycle computer for a speedo. As well the tach is dead, but Ive capped that line. I dont particuliarily care about the rpm..
But anyhow. The site has been a massive source of information for me. I look forward to hanging around!
