CX500 GL500 650 Global

I must be obsessed but eventually i'm going to figure this one out.

I just found a company selling them for one hell of a price and it is similar to what I was thinking of building.

This is the so called picture.

Any other ideas on how to make one.

Of course if I'm successful then I have to build a trailer.

I've done a bit of searching and the prices are really high.Some professional ones are in the Thousands.I know what I would do Don.Find some one local who does trikes.They will have the knowledge and skills to make something I'm sure.Also I bet Larry could fabricate some thing.

Go check out that hitch bracket I made for Silver(81 GL500). There are 6 pics of it there.
Made from angle iron and flat bar with corner pieces made from sheet metal.
One piece for each side, one across the back and one up middle to top point.
A stainless "L" bracket for hitch with a piece of flat bar from it to under side of license plate holder.
Made a good place to put hitch and blinkers and bottom brackets for saddlebags.
NO WELDING

Markland used to make hitches for the GL500 and CX500. Maybe you can still find a used one. Another option is to contact some local fab shops that make custom trailer hitches. Then, choose the correct trailer ball size. Check out the blue ox towing hitch balls. I think 1-7/8 inch or 2inch ball is most likely what you need.
