i hate july and august.the coast roads are packed,cant park[bikes ok,not the car]the signalled controled crossings are always red,the number of people crossing the road to get to the beaches.
then 40 mins inland,what a difference
they come..............

I agree, when i backpacked through part of spain (Madrid, Pamplona, Barcelona) I liked the "less traveled" areas a lot more than the tourist attractions. Sure, the beach in Barcelona was nice, but it was also packed, and everything was overpriced. Much more fun wandering the city. I found a lot of nice mom&pop sandwich places, with nice people to try my broken spanish on Too bad I didn't have a motorcycle to go cruise around on!

next time,midg,give me a shout,you can borrow my bike ,no probs.....the difference between the coast and the campo,is like 2 different countries
