Bamboo kebab sticks are great for cleaning deep nooks & crannies.

For fine corners the points dig out any gunk that's in there & for slightly larger nooks just snap the end off & the broken, hairy end makes a great scrubber when dipped in parafin or similar. They are hard enough to scrub with but not enough to damage paint etc. They need changing pretty quickly but you can keep snapping them shorter & after all a 200 pack cost next to nothing!

Found this when cleaning between fins etc on the engine casings.
