I live in northern KY, purchased an 82 silverwing on the bay about a month back. I have been working on it to make it the way i want it to be since then. just about have it done. this forum has been very helpful. thanks to all.

Glad it helped.There seems to have been quite a few new CX/GL owners over in the US on this and Chopper Charle's forum and some in the UK.I don't think there is another motorcycle with such good on-line support.They are pretty easy to work on.Spares are still available.They are economical and a good ride.
Many new owners,with the help of the forums,become good,"Home Mechanics" and do jobs on these bikes they never thought they could do thus learning skills and saving money into the process.
