CX500 GL500 650 Global

Hi.
My son and myself have just acquired a non running 1982 CX500 eurosport. It is in very good condition but has been stored in the garage for 5 years.
It will need new brakes, a respray etc. But first we need to get it running.

My question is about the fuel lines. It has the carb supply pipe and what appears to be a vacuum line to the right hand carb, but the fuel tap has a another pipe connection on the front side. What should this connect to, i cant find another pipe or fixing stub anywhere. Any help greatly appreciated.
